Besides the alpina Smart home app, you can also control the ceiling light by voice commands. The smart light combines with Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
Wi-fi connection
The alpina Smart home ceiling light connects independently to your wifi network. Therefore you do not need a separate hub or even a wifi amplifier to connect the ceiling light. As soon as the smart light is connected to your home network, you can also install the alpina Smart home app and control the ceiling light remotely.

As of 1 September 2021, the rules for energy labels have been changed. Instead of an energy efficient label, the LED smart lights are now labeled with an F or G. This is because they are continuously connected to your Wifi network. However, the LED lights are much more energy efficient than other lights.
