You simply plug this smart plug into an existing power outlet. A cover over the socket safely protects the socket when you are not using it. With this smart plug, you can control connected devices via your smartphone with the alpina Smart Home app. The app also allows you to set timetables and view your usage via the usage meter.
Timer and consumption meter
With the help of the alpina Smart home smart plug, you can remotely control your outdoor lighting or electrical watering systems, for example. You can switch such devices on or off via your smartphone and the alpina Smart home app when they are connected to the power outlet. IP44 water resistant and protective cover
The alpina Smart Home smart plug is specially designed for outdoor use. For example, there is a protective cap on the front of the socket that closes off the socket when you are not using it. This reduces the likelihood of water or dirt entering the socket. In addition to this protection cap, the smart plug is also IP44 certified. This means that the plug can easily withstand small rain showers without being damaged.
alpina smart home app
The plug connects via your Wi-Fi router. So you do not need an additional hub. To control the plug, download the alpina smart app to your phone. This app works via the user-friendly Tuya Smart platform. When you have downloaded the app, create an account or log in to an existing account. Then click on '+' to add the smart plug. Plug the smart plug into a power outlet and confirm it in the app when the reset light starts blinking. Confirm your wifi network and password in the app. Also give the smart plug a name in the app. This can then also be used for voice control in Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
